Satoshi, where are you?Florida trial failed to unmask Satoshi Nakamoto

Satoshi, where are you? Is the question on everyone lips as Florida trial fails to unmask the pseudonymous Bitcoin creator, Satoshi Nakamoto.

Is Craig Wright really Satoshi?

If you’re familiar with blockchain technology then the word Bitcoin has been song to your ears. If you know bitcoin, then Satoshi Nakamoto should be a misery to you just like everyone else.

Australian computer scientist Dr Craig Wright has long proclaimed himself as the sole inventor of Bitcoin, but legal trial in Florida didn’t confirm that either.

A jury acquitted Wright of nine charges out of ten leveled against him by Ira Kleiman brother of late David Kleiman. Who according to Ira supposedly helped Wright in creating Bitcoin.

Dr Craig Wright has since 2015 claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto but hasn’t been able to prove that claim. His claims were met with disdain by the blockchain community. In order to put any doubt to bed, Wright has to sign transactions on the blockchain using the Satoshi private keys.

Even though the trial has been in his favour, it didn’t exactly prove he is Nakamoto, the jury found no compelling evidence that confirms Wright and David were partners and that whatever went on back then was done solely by Dr Craig Wright.

He’s team has maintained argument that Wright is Satoshi but few years back he left the world in silence, ghosting when he was supposed to provide proof.

Below were his words:

“I’m sorry,” he said in a blog post cited by the Wall Street Journal. “I believed that I could do this. I believed that I could put the years of anonymity and hiding behind me. But, as the events of this week unfolded and I prepared to publish the proof … I broke. I do not have the courage. I cannot.”

Satoshi mined 1.1 million BTC shortly after releasing the whitepaper an account which has been dormant since he left the blockchain world.

It is believed, that anyone who could perform a transaction from that wallet is Satoshi Nakamoto. The wait continues friends but many believes that either Satoshi is dead or he’s lost his private keys.

Only time will tell
